My Platform
Why I’m Running for Ward 6 Councillor in Stouffville
I am running for Ward 6 Councillor because Stouffville deserves strong, accessible, and accountable leadership that listens to residents and acts in the best interests of our community. As our town continues to grow, it is more important than ever that residents have a voice at the council table. I want to be that voice—someone who is approachable, responsive, and committed to representing the concerns and priorities of Ward 6.
Communication is a Priority
Good government starts with good communication. Residents deserve to know what decisions are being made, why they are being made, and how they affect their neighbourhoods. As your Councillor, I will work to improve communication between Town Hall and residents through regular updates, community engagement, and open dialogue. Listening is just as important as speaking, and I am committed to ensuring every resident feels heard.
Protecting Our Environment
Stouffville’s natural spaces, parks, trails, and green areas are part of what makes our community special. As we grow, we must balance development with environmental responsibility. I will advocate for sustainable planning, environmental stewardship, and initiatives that help protect our natural resources for future generations.
Promoting Civic Responsibility
A strong community is built when residents are engaged and involved. I believe in encouraging civic responsibility by supporting volunteerism, community participation, and transparent decision-making. Together, we can create a culture where residents feel empowered to contribute to the future of our town.
A Vision for Ward 6
My goal is to help build a Ward 6 that is connected, sustainable, and inclusive. We need to ensure that growth is managed responsibly, that residents have confidence in their local government, and that our community remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
I am running because I care deeply about Stouffville and the future of Ward 6. I look forward to earning your trust, hearing your ideas, and working together to make our community even stronger.
